LIN 295-01 - Special Topic: Choreolinguistics1 credits (Spring) Cross-listed as: THD 295-01 . This course explores the ways that the disciplines of Choreography and Linguistics create a theory and share that theory with others. Specifically, we will be asking: What are the meaningful units in language and dance? How do we identify them? What is their underlying structure? What characteristics do we use to recognize and identify them? And how do we put them together into larger units and use them to communicate.
Prerequisite or co-requisite: Concurrent enrollment in or previous completion of LIN 216 or THD 225 . Note: Meets February 10 to March 10. Short course deadlines apply. S/D/F only. Instructor: Hansen and Miller
