PSY 295-01 - Special Topic: Sensation and Perception4 credits (Fall) This course will present a survey of theoretical frameworks and empirical findings addressing the questions of how the body detects sensory information and of how the mind integrates this incoming sensory information into a coherent understanding of experience. This course will provide a mix of disciplines and approaches, including attention to the physiology of natural systems (e.g., us) the engineering of smart devices (e.g., robots) and remaining challenges.
Prerequisite: PSY 113 . PSY 225 is recommended. Instructor: D. Kelty-Stephen
