HUM 295-02 - Special Topic: Contemporary Irish Writing

4 credits (Fall)
The course will focus on contemporary Irish fiction and playwriting in the context of a changing Ireland.  By looking closely at the work of key Irish writers, the course will offer students an opportunity to engage with the enormous social and economic changes which are taking place in Ireland through a vibrant and unique range of contemporary voices which have become part of the Irish storytelling tradition.

Prerequisite: TUT-100 and second-year standing.
