PSY 295-01 - Special Topic: Scientific Presentation Skills

2 credits (Fall)
This course will focus on presentation skills for communicating scientific information in an engaging way to diverse audiences. It will explore the constraints of attention and the resources of spatial organization, both of information on the slide/board and of bodily movements through the presentation room. Students will revise their presentations and take renewed attempts at planning and at delivering. They will also learn to become critical and appreciative audience members, with opportunities for peer feedback.

Prerequisite: PSY 113 .
