SST 295-02 - Special Topic: Ethical Leadership in the Workplace

This class uses the topic of ethics in the workplace to address communications and leadership skills important for success. Students will not be taught right versus wrong, but focus on the circumstances in which ethical issues may arise, methods for analyzing and advising on these, and addressing ethics as business leaders. Sponsored by the Wilson Center for Innovation and Leadership. Taught by Steve Weiss ‘77, retired general counsel and senior VP of MidAmerican Energy Company, and retired administrative law judge at the Illinois Commerce Commission.

Prerequisite: Second-year standing.
