4 credits (Fall)
In the 21st century, artists regularly use computer technology as part of their practice. Arts practice may involve writing programs that generate artworks, that control devices, or that help artists explore design spaces. In this course we will consider models of arts computing using the Processing programming language. Along the way, we will also develop skills in computational thinking and consider relationships between the arts and technology. This course is offered online in conjunction with Global Online Academy.
