BIO 390-01 - Readings in Biology2 credits (Spring) Biological Applications in Sustainability Science. The emerging field of sustainability science refers to multi-disciplinary studies of how to improve human well-being while also preserving the natural environment, on which human well-being ultimately depends. This readings course concerns how the discipline of biology can serve both goals, with applications in energy, agriculture, landscape and urban design, and the stewardship of natural resources.
Prerequisite: BIO 252 . Instructor: Eckhart
