ANT 295-03 - Special Topic: Economic Anthropology: The Other 99%4 credits (Spring) In this course we will broadly examine the field of economic anthropology, which attempts to explain and explore human economic behavior - production, consumption, circulation and exchange. Income inequality, political economy, labor precarity, global capitalism and neoliberal economic doctrine are just some of the topics we will be exploring in class using scholarly texts, popular media and film.
Prerequisite: ANT 104 . Instructor: Ference
