JPN 295-01 - Special Topic: Japanese Linguistics

Cross-listed as: EAS 295-01 or LIN 295-01. You will explore scientific approaches to languages with particular focus on intriguing language phenomenon in Japanese: you will compare Japanese with your first language through the methods you learn in this course. Therefore, it will give you an opportunity to deepen the understanding of your native language as well as linguistic theory. Prior foreign language experience preferred but not required. This course will be taught in English.
