GDS 300 - Global Development Studies Internship2 credits Students participate in an 8-10 week full-time summer internship relevant to core themes of the GDS concentration. Internship sites are typically located in a low-income country or with an organization that works on issues in such locations. Organizations can be from any sector of society (e.g. government, non-government, for-profit). Students procure their own internships, and then apply for internship approval through the Center for Careers, Life, and Service. Each student must have a faculty sponsor associated with the concentration and will work with the sponsor to develop learning expectations and graded assignments.
