SOC 295-04 - Special Topic: Sociology of Food and Agriculture4 credits (Spring) This course applies the sociological imagination to a subject matter of both global importance and local significance. Students will consider the way food intersects with culture and identity, explore how norms, policies, and economics influence food consumption and production, and delve into the ecological and environmental justice questions surrounding food and agriculture.
Prerequisite: SOC 111 . Instructor: Bacon
