CSC 395-01 - Advanced Special Topic: Applying Human-Computer Interaction Methods to Design for Societal Impact4 credits (Spring) In this course, students will use computer science skills to design, build, and study tools to foster using technology to solve societal problems and learn about research methods and topics in Human-Computer Interaction. The course will have three main components: 1) the study of key concepts regarding human computer interaction, 2) the design and development of software artifacts to serve personal and community needs, and 3) the discussion of a variety of research papers in Human-Computer Interaction.
