THD 295-02 - Special Topic: Choreography

2 credits (Spring)

This course is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in dance and choreography. Students will learn the fundamental principles of choreography, including basic dance techniques, musicality, and creative expression. Through practical exercises and creative exploration, students will develop their choreographic skills and gain confidence in creating dance routines.

Prerequisite: THD 102, THD 110, THD 120, THD 140, ART 111, ART 155, MUS 100, MUS 112, or any 200-level THD course with the exception of THD 200 and THD 201; with grades S, C, or better.

Note: Dates: March 24 to May 7. 1/2 semester deadlines apply.
