The neuroscience concentration exposes students to the major problems in the field and gives them some experience in the various modes of inquiry used to solve these problems. The concentration provides students a unique opportunity to integrate diverse approaches and principles from across the natural sciences and beyond the natural sciences to address complex questions about the function of the nervous system.

Required 24 credits as follows:
1. 8 credits: two 4-credit introductory science courses with a laboratory, from two departments.
3. Science elective: 4 credits
4 credits, chosen from: 4. Cross-divisional elective: 4 credits
4 credits, chosen from one of the following content areas: a) Perceptual-Motor Integration
b) Humanities Perspective on Science and Mental Processes
5. Senior Seminar: 4 credits
The student will be expected to integrate the material of this elective in a project in the Neuroscience Seminar and to demonstrate knowledge gained in this course during discussions. Neuroscience Course Descriptions
