ECN 339 - Introduction to Mathematical Economics4 credits An introduction to mathematical models of economic behavior. Basic techniques in differential and integral calculus and linear algebra will be applied to a wide range of micro- and macroeconomic issues. Topics include comparative statics, optimization, and linear programming.
Prerequisite: MAT 133 , and ECN 280 and ECN 282 . MAT 215 is useful but not required. Note: Not offered every year. Instructor: Montgomery
