HIS 295-06 - Special Topic: Modern Classics of Historial Writing4 credits (Spring) A survey of some of the great recent works of historical scholarship. The course will be taught Oxford tutorial style, mostly in small group meetings with the instructor and will involve frequent writing assignments. It serves as useful preparation to all advanced seminars in history, and will be valuable to students who plan to go on to graduate school in history, but it is intended for all students who would like to improve their ability to write analytically about the Humanities and Social Sciences.
Prerequisite: Two 200-level History courses. Instructor: Cohn, Pollnitz
