ECN 369 - Seminar in Environmental Economics4 credits This course will familiarize students with the theory and application of economics to environmental problems and prepare them to analyze issues in environmental economics and policy. It will focus on the design of cost-effective environmental policies and on methods for determining the value of environmental amenities.
Prerequisite: ECN 280 ; and concurrent registration in or completion of ECN 262 (offered Fall 2011, 2012 and Spring 2012, 2013), or ECN 286 , or MAT 336 . Effective Spring 2018 the prerequisite will be ECN 280 and concurrent registration in or completion of ECN 286 or MAT 336 . Instructor: Brouhle
