EDU 295-01 - Special Topic: Education Policy and Politics4 credits (Spring) Over the past 60 years schools in America have shifted from highly localized institutions to institutions that are increasingly influenced by state and national policy makers. This change has brought ideas about how students should learn, what students should learn, and how schools should be organized to the forefront of political campaigns and platforms.
