PHY 395-01 - Advanced Special Topics: Stellar and Planetary Astrophysics4 credits (Spring) An introduction to the subject of stellar and planetary astrophysics from a theoretical and observational perspective. Topics covered include stellar structure and evolution, the physics of interstellar material, extrasolar planets, and observational technology and techniques. The course will also touch upon relevant areas of current research in astrophysics.
