HIS 262 - Modern Africa from the Sahara to the Zambezi4 credits (Fall or Spring) An introduction to West, Central, and East Africa during the colonial and post-colonial periods, focusing on the local, regional, and international dynamics of state-building, social and economic change, religious transformation, cultural identity, nationalism, and globalization.
