CHI 295-01 - Special Topic: Chinese Conversation: Topics in Contemporary China and America1 or 2 credits (Fall) This conversation - and discussion-based course helps students improve oral skills by discussing important topics in contemporary Chinese and American society. We will focus on topics such as education, family, and the Internet, and bring in our own experiences and perspectives to explore their many facets. We will utilize various formats in class: role-play, pair and group work, interviewing native Chinese speakers, and presenting and debating individually or as a group.
Prerequisite: CHI 102 or equivalent. Instructor: Liu
