JPN 295-02 & 03 - Special Topic: Casual Conversation in Japanese

2 credits (Spring)

This course aims to improve oral skills by talking about familiar topics about yourself, your surroundings, and your society and Japanese society. we will learn various expressions and vocabluary from real-life resources, such as podcasts, online videos, and dramas, and you are expected to interact actively with classmates using the expressions and vocabulary you learned. We will utilize various formats in class: role-play, pair, and group work, discussion, and interview. 

 

Prerequisite: JPN 221 .
