GRM 377 - German Youth Cultures4 credits (Fall or Spring) Conducted in German. This course examines how youth has been understood in German history and how it is experienced today. Literary and non-literary texts and documents will help us generate discussion about youth movements; subcultures; sexual expression and repression; and the different social and psychological developments that have been part of becoming an adult since the late eighteenth century.
Prerequisite: GRM 222 . Note: Plus-2 option available. Not offered every year. Instructor: Samper Vendrell
