CSC 395-01 - Advanced Special Topic: Network and Matrix Computations4 credits (Fall) This course will be a dive into network (graph) analysis. We will explore the relationship between problems stated on networks and their solutions, which may involve approximation algorithms. A key component of this class will be in understanding the interply between solutions written on paper, and their execution via matrix computations on a computer. Selected topics will include random graph models, spectral analysis, and random walks on graphs.
Prerequisite: CSC 207 and MAT 215 . Instructor: Eikmeier
