ANT 205 - Human Evolution4 credits In this course, we examine the development of evolutionary theory, studying past and present views of human biological diversity and adaptation to different environments. We then apply evolutionary theory to explore the behavioral and ecological diversity of nonhuman primates. Finally, we examine the human skeleton and the fossil record to further explore the origin and evolution of the human family.
Prerequisite: ANT 104 with grade S, C, or better. Note: Not offered every year. Instructor: Marshack
