ALS 113 - Brazilian Portuguese III

2 credits (Fall and Spring)

ALSO Brazilian Portuguese 3 is a self-instructed language learning program for students who have completed ALS-112 or an equivalent course. Students follow a syllabus to independently learn the language and complete assignments. Students also attend communicative class sessions led by their native-speaking peer tutors. While the course covers all communication modes, students will focus on interpersonal oral communication. Students are expected to achieve oral proficiency of Intermediate Mid on ACTFL scale.

Prerequisite: ALS 112 with grade S, C, or better, and second-year standing.
