SOC 272 - Environmental Sociology4 credits (Fall or Spring) This course provides an overview of environmental sociology as a sub-discipline: introduces students to the essential concepts, theories, and methods used in environmental sociology, enabling students to identify and examine the way sociological concepts can be applied to environmental concerns academically, creatively, and practically.
Prerequisite: SOC 111 with grade S, C, or better. Note: Plus-2 option available. Instructor: Bacon
