The digital age has made it easier than ever for anyone to make true crime “content.” But what does it mean to use other people’s often-tragic stories for entertainment? This course will examine the most common criticisms of true crime. It deals with difficult topics including police violence, murder, and sexual assault; it is best suited for students comfortable addressing these issues in a group setting. Sponsored by the Wilson Center for Innovation and Leadership.
