ECN 395-02 - Advanced Special Topic: Seminar in Economic History4 credits (Fall) Economic history of work, workers, households, and inequality. We will take an interdisciplinary approach to aspects of historical labor markets. Topics may include unemployment, human capital, migration, demographic and regional inequality, and labor market institutions, focusing on historical episodes in Western Europe and the United States from the early modern period through the late twentieth century. Students will develop and explore a research question on a related topic in economic history.
Prerequisite: ECN 280 and ECN 286 with grades S, C, or better. Instructor: Paker
