It draws from the four fields in anthropology and readings in international and US contexts to explore topics such as human variation (sex, gender, race), language, how we use space and create places, how we eat, what we eat, and material culture. In each section, students will engage with anthropological theories, concepts, and methods to unpack what makes us human.
