BIO 395-01 - Advanced Special Topic: Introduction to R Programming for Biologists

4 credits (Fall)
Biologists are increasingly utilizing R programming for data analysis and visualization due to its versatility and powerful capabilities. The R environment offers a comprehensive set of tools for exploring and manipulating large datasets, conducting reproducible analyses, and communicating findings in polished reports. This course introduces the fundamentals of using the R programming language for efficient data analysis through a blend of lectures, in-class exercises, and assignments. Prior programming experience is not necessary.

Prerequisite: BIO 251  and BIO 252  or BCM 262 ; with grade S, C, or better.
