JPN 295-01 - Special Topic: Japanese Listening and Speaking through Anime

In this course, we will use the anime Spirited Away to help you acquire natural Japanese. Each week, we will watch a 10-minute segment and discuss it using your own Japanese. Before class, you will learn vocabulary and grammar to ensure understanding. After class, we will practice shadowing, which will improve your listening and speaking abilities in fast-paced Japanese and enhance your pronunciation.

Prerequisite: JPN 221 with grade S, C, or better.
