HIS 236 - Britain in the Modern World II, 1815–present4 credits (Spring) This course examines how modern British political institutions, social and economic structures, and cultural identities developed in a global context. Special attention will be given to the evolving relationship between metropolitan society and overseas expansion. From 1815 to present.
