REL 295-02 - Special Topic: Religion, Philosophy, and the Good Life4 credits (Spring) What is the good life? A happy life, a meaningful or purposeful life, a virtuous life, a life of rich relationships with others? Some combination of all of these? And does inquiry into the good life help us achieve it? If so, how? In this course, we explore questions such as these by considering how different philosophical and religious traditions have sought to understand and guide human life.
Prerequisite: REL 101 , REL 102 , REL 103 , REL 104 , REL 105 , or second-year standing. Instructor: Roberts
