THD 350-01 - Critical Approaches to Theatre Methods

Cross-listed as: GLS 350-01. This course hones the craft of writing for the stage including character, action, dialogue, visual imagery, sonic storytelling, and adaptation from other media and genres. Through discussion, regular writing practices and workshop response, and reading and viewing plays, students will develop their own artistic voices and theatrical imaginations. All writers welcome!: new, continuing, screenwriters, gamer-storytellers, any genre. Performance writing is a capacious space. Counts for FMS Production Area credit.

Prerequisite: Any 200-level THD, GLS, FMS, ENG, HUM, or HIS course with grade S, C, or better, except THD 200 or THD 201.
