ANT 295-02 - Special Topic: Area Studies in Archaeology: Ancient Mesopotamia

4 credits (Fall)
This intermediate-level archaeology course explores past cultures and societies of a specific geographic region, examining key archaeological sites, material culture, and social organization. Students will engage with the region’s prehistoric and historic periods, studying technological advancements, subsistence practices, and cultural developments. The course will also highlight the methodologies and theoretical frameworks used in the analysis and interpretation of archaeological data.

Prerequisite: ANT 104  with grade S, C, or better.
