ARH 360-01 - Exhibition Seminar4 credits (Fall) Exploration of the materials and methods of primary art historical research and museum practice. Students will work directly with art objects, drawn from a private collection, and organize and present an exhibition in the Grinnell College Museum of Art. We will consider mostly contemporary photography, and issues such as representations of gender, queerness, social status, and beauty.
Prerequisite: One 200-level art history course with grade S, C, or better. Instructor: Mackenzie
