ARB 295-01 - Special Topic: Women’s Lives through Arab Lens

Cross-listed as: GLS 295-02 or HUM 295-01 Education, economic independence, social mobility, the right to work and move freely are but a few issues that concern citizens in the Arab world and weigh especially heavily on women in that region. Through an examination of film and other texts, this course will explore these challenges and struggles and will pay close attention to how they affect women’s daily lives.

Prerequisite: Second semester standing.
