SOC 295-02 - Special Topic: Sociology of Education4 credits (Fall) This course will examine how and why educational outcomes and experiences vary across student populations in K-12. Students will explore how social inequalities are reproduced or ameliorated through schools to better understand the role schools play in a society’s system of stratification.
Prerequisite: SOC 111 with grade S, C, or better. Instructor: Correa
