SOC 295-01 - Special Topic: Immigration and Transnationalism4 credits (Fall) This course examines what is “new” about contemporary migratory flows. The course will begin with an overview of relevant topics in the field of international migration and examine theoretical perspectives addressing why migrations occurs and their sociological and political implications.
Prerequisite: SOC 111 with grade S, C, or better. Instructor: Escandell
