CHI 195-01 - Introductory Special Topic: Chinese-Korean Comparative Literature

Cross-listed as: EAS 195-01. This course offers a dynamic, comparative exploration of pre-modern Chinese and Korean literature. Through (1) close readings in English, (2) lively discussions connecting pre-modern literature to contemporary life, and (3) modern adaptations such as films, students will explore the richness of East Asian literary expression and the creative dialogues between Chinese and Korean traditions. This course is open to all—whether you are already familiar with the literature or discovering it for the first time.
