PSY 395-02 - Advanced Special Topic: Readings in Psychology: Stress, Coping, and the Brain2 credits In this course we will examine research investigating how stress alters psychological, health, and neural processes. We will also examine research that explores coping approaches, stress resilience, and other mechanisms that reduce the negative outcomes of stress. This course will be taught in a seminar format, emphasizing reading and discussion of classic and recent publications in the primary literature.
Prerequisite: PSY 246 , or NRS 250 , and one psychology course at the 200-level with grades, S, C, or better. Instructor: Rempel-Clower
